Responsibilities
We are growing rapidly (5x revenue growth the past year), and looking for an experienced Account Manager to play a key role in further growing our business. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point-of-contact for key customers
- Regularly meeting with key customers to: educate them on new features, understand increases/decreases in API usage, collect feedback on their overall experience with the API, etc.
- Liaising between our technical support team and customers to help resolve technical issues with the API
- Upsell key customers on new features that are launched
- Analyze API usage from key accounts to prevent churn and identify upsell opportunities
Requirements
- Several years of experience in developer tools and/or technical products (for eg APIs)
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics in a simple way
- Comfort working, and establishing relationships, with key stakeholders in engineering, product, and AI (e.g. CTO, CPO, etc.)
- Ability to expand and build new relationships with senior line of business owners and executive stakeholders to understand and uncover new opportunities
- Thrives in a high energy, fast-growth startup environment with many priorities and have the ability to effectively manage your own time
- Strong empathy for developers and patience to help them solve their problems
